A new generation of bionic hand prostheses based on the controlled modular structure of the fingers, the wrist ans the elbow joint for persons with different types of amputation of upper limbs
Wroclaw based company BioEngineering.pl sp.z o.o. as part of a project co-financed by the National Center for Research and Development, develops a hand prosthesis controlled by biological signals related to muscle vibration. The prosthesis reflects the kinematic processes of the hand structure – independent control of artificial fingers allows you to perform complex grip movements. The solution is characterized by high practicality and ease of use, at the same time it is cheaper than similar projects prepared abroad. This allows to reduce financial barriers that often prevent amputees from using the latest solutions that can significantly improve their quality of life and facilitate their daily activities.
