Implementing a system to produce intelligent process lines of a global level of innovation to produce juices and concentrates.
B&P Engineering is a manufacturer of various types of machines, devices and containers, specialising in stainless steel processing. The company produces both individual items and entire installations. The food industry is the main customer for the manufacturer’s offer, but solutions are also provided for customers conducting other types of business. With a modern machine park at its disposal, the company also operates as a subcontractor for the world’s largest producers of industrial devices.
The aim of this project was to strengthen the competitiveness and increase the innovativeness of the company by launching a new product in the form of the new i-SiK process line for producing juices and concentrates.
The innovation developed is a result of research and development work carried out by or commissioned by the beneficiary.
For the purposes of implementing the product, this project involved the construction of a new production hall along with the accompanying infrastructure, and new fixed assets were purchased to enable production of the line. This led to a diversification of B&P Engineering’s business, by starting serial production of the complete, multi-modular line which is innovative on a global level.
These actions allowed the key aim of the project to be realised – the launch of the new product.
The innovativeness of the i-SiK lines consists of the technical and technological solutions which allow the production processes to be automated and optimised. This means increased productivity, lower maintenance costs, minimised wear and tear of the line devices and lower energy consumption, as well as water and sewage management which is safe for the environment.
The customers of the product are mainly producers of fruit juices and concentrates, both in Poland and abroad.
