Modernization of the tram fleet in Wrocław in terms of improving energy efficiency and ensuring accessibility for people with reduced mobility - Stage IA
Attractive and low-emission public transport is one of the priorities for modern cities. This was the goal of the city of Wrocław which invested in the development of tram transport.
Thanks to the EU subsidy, the city gained 56 modern, partially low-floor trams with additional service equipment, including computer sets for vehicle diagnostics and, specialized tools for repairing and replacing components.
Inhabitants of Wrocław and visiting tourists have gained greater comfort of traveling. People with reduced mobility are able to use trams to a greater extent. The investment also contributed to the improvement of the energy efficiency of trams, thus reduced the negative impact on the climate and the natural environment.
