Purchase of medium-class, fully equipped fire and rescue vehicle for Volunteer Fire Fighters in Skoroszów
There are nine active units of Volunteer Firefighters in the Trzebnica municipality. The town authorities are very well aware of how important the citizens’ safety is, as well as of the fact that besides the firefighters’ engagement, it is also all about the equipment they use when in rescue action. One of supporting initiatives needed there was the purchase of a new medium-class fire and rescue vehicle, fully equipped, which was received by Volunteer Firefighters’ units in Skoroszów on their 70th anniversary. A modern ‘MAN’ model of a vehicle can seat 6 crew members, is equipped with a 4000 dm3 water tank and a water canon. The new vehicle was financed with EU funds and it contributed to the improvement of fire brigade’s efficiency as well as citizens’ safety.
