The reconstruction and extension of the Ludwig Rydygier Provincial Integrated Hospital in Toruń
The project concerns the extension and reconstruction of the Ludwig Rydygier Provincial Integrated Hospital in Toruń. The H-shaped new main building of the clinic connected to the existing main building is intended to be the heart of the hospital, housing, among others, emergency ward, invasive cardiology ward, main operating block of the hospital and four general hospital wards with beds. The new hospital will be one of the most modern ones in the country – both in the sphere of equipment (the tender procedure for its delivery is in progress) and functional solutions, as well as in terms of providing patients with comfort. In three years, a well-thought-out, functional clinic town friendly for patients and their families is going to be created. Double sick rooms with bathrooms and special places designed to meet with families as well as a restaurant that overcomes the negative stereotypes of hospital nutrition have been planned. Free Wi-Fi Internet will be provided in the whole hospital area, additionally each room is going to be equipped with a tablet.
