Project description:
The main objective of the project is to improve energy efficiency of a public utility building in the area of Gorzów Wielkopolski by optimizing the energy management of the building of the School Complex No. 13 in Gorzów Wielkopolski and the 4th High School in Gorzów Wielkopolski. The following works will be carried out to achieve the goal:
- School Complex No. 13 in Gorzów Wielkopolski.: insulation of walls in the ground, insulation of basement walls and plinths over the ground, insulation of overground storey walls, insulation of full roof, insulation of ventilated roof, replacement of windows, modernization of the installations and replacement of the heating system, installation of mechanical ventilation with heat recovery in the gymnastics hall, installation of solar collectors with the area of 28 m2, modernization of the internal lighting system,
- IV High School in Gorzów Wielkopolski: replacement of windows:, replacement of skylights, replacement of external doors, replacement of attic doors (to the non usable part), renovation of doors, walls in the ground, connecting walls above ground, ceiling of the last floor, roof slants, attic walls, replacement of the existing central heating system with a new module of the central heating substation, ventilation in the gymnastics hall – air handling and exhaust air handling unit, replacement of lighting with energy-saving lighting – all rooms will be illuminated with LED lighting fixtures.
The project will reduce the energy consumption of educational buildings by approx. 50%.
The project implements the objectives of ROP LUBUSKIE 2020 in Axis 3. in line with the objective of Measure 3.2, which is increased energy efficiency of buildings. The introduction of thermomodernization improvements will lead to a reduction in the energy demand of the buildings covered by the project. As a result, the emissions of the main air pollutants and CO2 will be reduced, the air quality and living conditions of the target group – the MOF GW community – will be improved.
The effects of the Project will impact the entire area of the MOF GW in terms of reducing pollution and making the improved infrastructure available to communities from all functionally related municipalities.
