Construction of a northwest route for the town of Płock
Improvement in transport accessibility and development in regional road transport is one of the priorities of Mazovia. The authorities of Płock obtained co-funding from European funds for the construction of two sections of the town’s northwest route: from the “Boryszewo” junction on ulica Otolińska to the “Bielska” junction, and from the “Bielska” junction to the “Długa” junction.
In total over 4 km of Voivodeship (regional) road was constructed. This might not seem much, but it is worth emphasising that thanks to this investment the accessibility of Płock and its functional area has improved significantly. The project also embraced the construction of road lighting, surface water drains, water mains reconstruction, and the restructuring of colliding telecom and power network equipment. Traffic safety equipment as well as road markings and road signs were also installed.
