Construction of the Gorce - Klikuszowa cross-country skiing centre - stage I
With the support of European Funds, a Cross-Country Skiing Centre was established in Klikuszowa near Nowy Targ, which is a dream place for winter sports enthusiasts. This centre was created with recreation and training in mind, so it attracts both skiing enthusiasts and professionals.
At an altitude of over 700 m above sea level, there is a perfectly prepared cross-country track, almost 2 kilometres long. The route is illuminated, which allows it to be used even after dark. Furthermore, the centre has a free parking lot and a modern building with cloakrooms, toilets, equipment rental and a cafe.
This project excellently illustrates investment in sports infrastructure that brings benefits to both residents and tourists. The resort creates opportunities for sports development for skiers and attracts new guests to the region, which has a positive impact on economic development, generating additional profits for local enterprises.
