Modernization of bus and tram infrastructure in Sosnowiec - construction and extension of small interchanges nodes and bicycle paths connecting them
The subject of the project is to create 8 small interchanges nodes in the city that allow changing the means of communication from individual to public transport and bicycle. As part of the project, reconstruction of 6 underground and 2 overground passages is planned, along with adaptation for the needs of the disabled, in order to facilitate access to public transport stops, construction of bicycle paths and 9 bike rentals connecting interchanges nodes, as well as the construction of bus lanes and the construction of ticket machines. The overall task of the project is to create a coherent system supporting public transport in the city and contributing to the replacement of the car as a means of communication by public transport and bicycle.
