‘Expansion of kindergarten infrastructure with necessary equipment (Municipal Kindergarten No. 20 at ul. Śliwki 38 and No. 47 at ul. Piłsudskiego 92 in Sosnowiec)’
The subject of the project was the reconstruction and extension of the existing kindergarten infrastructure in Sosnowiec for the purpose of creating an additional 75 preschool education places for children aged 3-4 (50 places in PM No. 20 and 25 places in PM No. 47). As a result of the project, new rooms, equipped with the necessary equipment, for 3 additional groups of children were created (including teaching and recreation rooms with facilities, rooms for individual classes with speech therapist and psychologist for children, changing rooms and sanitary facilities for children, rebuilt kitchen with storage). The project also envisaged the expansion of the playground at both kindergartens, the creation of a bicycle path (kindergarten No. 47) and a natural obstacle course (kindergarten No. 20). The infrastructure resulting from the analysis of deficits in access to preschool education facilities, adapted to the needs of people with disabilities, is supplemented with planned activities from the European Social Fund.
