Creation of an integrated public transport system in the K OSI area
The project will be implemented in the Konin Area of Strategic Intervention, in the Konin poviat, in the Wielkopolskie Voivodship. Direct Beneficiaries will be the Project Partners, i.e. the City of Konin and the communes of: Golina, Kazimierz Biskupi, Kramsk, Krzymów, Rzgów, Stare Miasto, Ślesin. The final beneficiaries will be the inhabitants of the K OSI area. The implementation of the project will allow to reduce harmful carbon dioxide emissions and improve the condition of the environment, but will also increase the attractiveness of traveling by public transport by improving transport accessibility. The project will also increase the cohesion and intermodality of the transport system. The overriding goal of this Project is to create an integrated public transport system in the K OSI area by increasing the integration of various means of transport by providing residents with the necessary infrastructure (transfer points with “Bike & Ride” parking lots, municipal bicycle rental), adapting the city fleet to the requirements of EU standards environmental and EU technical standards, reducing air pollution by developing clean forms of individual and public transport and reducing the use of passenger cars on the premises of K OSI.
