Use of the natural and cultural potential of the Babice Commune through the completion of missing tourist routes
Places worth visiting in and around Babice have become more accessible for cyclists. Thanks to EU funding, new trails were created in the municipality in 2019, linking the Vistula Cycle Route to major local natural, historical and cultural attractions.
Recreation and leisure facilities were also built along the marked routes – outdoor gyms in Rozkochów, Babice, Mętkowo and Włosień, and playgrounds in Wygiełzów and Włosień.
The municipality has also gained an offer for those who enjoy hiking. A well-marked, almost 2.3-kilometre-long forest educational route called The Mysteries of Grodzisko Mountain in Wygiełzów awaits hikers.
