Revitalization of the City Center for social purposes - giving a new function to the buildings at Modrzejowska and Targowa streets in Sosnowiec together with the renovation of the common parts of selected tenements
The subject of the project is reconstruction and equipment of facilities in the Sosnowiec Center district in order to give them new functional forms for the purposes of social and professional activation of the residents of the City Center and renovation of the common parts of tenements.
The scope of work includes:
- adaptation of the ground floor and first floor of the building at Modrzejowska 42 street for the needs of the Volunteer Center, Senior Club and Sosnowiec Senior Center, Resident Advice Point;
- adaptation of part of the building at Targowa 18 street for the needs of the Children’s Club for children under 3 years old;
- renovation of common parts of residential and service buildings at Dekerta 10, Dekerta 14, Modrzejowska 42, Targowa 12 and Targowa 18 streets.
The planned construction works include: modernization of the installation (electricity, drinking water, sanitary sewerage, central heating, air conditioning), reconstruction of ceiling structures, creation of toilets, enlargement of door and window openings with the implementation of steel lintels along with replacement of joinery, making new ventilation ducts, strengthening and impregnating the roof truss structure, repairing the roof covering, repairing the floors on the ground floor and creating new floors on the first, second floor and in the attic, making partition walls from plasterboards, making interior plasters, ceramic tiles, installation suspended ceilings, painting, adjusting rooms for people with disabilities and other finishing work. Equipment and devices in all the above-mentioned facilities will be adapted to the target age groups. The rooms will be adapted for the disabled people.
