MDDP Akademia is one of the largest training companies in Poland, which offers a wide range of trainings, courses, studies and workshops both online and stationary. It develops the knowledge and experience of its charges, including in the fields of tax, accountancy, finance and law, and strategic management, business, professional, personal and IT competences.
The aim of the competency academy for the finance and insurance sector was to develop competencies within the scope recommended by the Sectoral Council for Competencies in the finance sector by a minimum of 225 people out of the 250 covered by the support, from 125 micro, small and medium businesses operating in the financial sector.
For the purposes of the project, a wide selection of trainings was created aimed at people working in such institutions as cooperative banks and insurance multi-agencies, operating as brokers or insurance agents, or financial intermediaries. Other institutions than these also made use of the training services, as they met the qualifying criteria.
The services were financed in full by the entrepreneurs, and financial settlement of the support involved applications for a refund of part of the costs being made to the project operator.
The upper limit of support for a company was 15,000zł gross (including the entrepreneurs own contribution), subject to a maximum cost per person of no more than 75,000 zł gross.
The project enjoyed great interest among entrepreneurs from the finance and insurance sector, as testified by the results achieved so far, i.e. 397 employees trained from 114 companies.

This is confirmed by the great interest shown by entrepreneurs in taking part in the project.”
