Cultural heritage of the kitchen - promotion of culinary traditions through the professionalization of the gastronomic offer of Lublin and Rivne
The world is becoming more and more open, however, tourists are looking for an experience based on local culture and identity. We observe the tendency of interest of the population in culinary and gastronomy and their wide popularization. This is facilitated by television shows, master classes for professionals and amateurs in nutrition, as well as gastronomic conferences and festivals. The main problem to be solved by the project is the inadequate promotion of the historical and cultural heritage of the cities of Rivne and Lublin in the context of the traditional kitchen of the border region. The aim of the project is to improve and develop the tourist attractiveness and cultural heritage of the cities of Rivne and Lublin through the popularization of the culinary heritage. The project will enhance the cultural identity of the cities of Rivne and Lublin, promoting them through the prism of preserving and popularizing the traditional culinary heritage, will help spread knowledge about the potential of the culinary heritage of cities, increase the attractiveness of the historical and cultural monument – the quest room “Mysterious Underground Rivne” in Rivne Taras Shevchenko Culture and Recreation Park. To achieve this goal, we need to take advantage of the crossborder cooperation approach.
