Reconstruction and extension of the building of the Maria Konopnicka Museum in Suwałki along with installations and land development
Thanks to the grant, the Museum of Maria Konopnicka in Suwałki has undergone a major renovation. The works included structural elements of the building: foundations and walls were renovated. The roof, windows and doors were replaced. Facades were also refurbished, plasters, floors and floors were laid. The works also included equipping the building of newinstallations: electrical, heating, water and sewage as well as rain, fire, anti-theft and television installations.The Museum renovated also basements and attics, as well as installed ventilation and air conditioning in exhibition halls.
As part of the project, modern multimedia and exhibition devices were also purchased. It enabled the Museum’s offer to be enriched and used by people with disabilities. In addition, the area around the building was tidied up. Access roads, sidewalks and parking lots were constructed. The Museum planted new greenery around the facility.
