Establishment of a didactic greenhouse as well as a manoeuvring square designated for driving lessons to serve the purposes connected to vocational training in Zespół Szkół im. St. Mikołajczyk (School Complex named after Stanisław Mikołajczyk) in Opatówek
The project covered an investment which consisted of the establishment of a didactic greenhouse together with equipping it (as part of the professional training for gardeners) and the construction of a manoeuvring square designated for driving lessons (as part of vocational training for students – driving licence categories B, T and C) connected to the operations of Zespół Szkół im. Stanisław Mikołajczyk in Opatówek. One constructed a new one-story didactic greenhouse covering an area of 800 square meters. The structure of the external walls was made using steel poles and a single 4mm Float tempered glass with aluminium bolection. The greenhouse is equipped with a boiler room as well as the necessary installations: water supply, sanitary sewage, climatic zone, drainage and carbon dioxide, as well as equipment enabling the performance of activities connected to the cultivation of plants. The greenhouse applies modern technological solution. The crops are controlled thanks to computer software which can determine the parameters of heating, air humidity and lighting. The facility is divided into four spheres. Each zone offers a different microclimate which makes cultivation of numerous agricultural crops possible. Moreover, a manoeuvring square was built as part of the investment. Consequently, students, among others, of agricultural mechanization classes are to able to take part in test drives prior to driving tests in categories B, T and C.
