Development of recreational infrastructure through the construction of a tennis court and football fields in Biórkowo Wielkie and Koniusza, as well as playgrounds in 10 towns situated in the Koniusza municipality
Recreational and sports infrastructure integrates the residents of the Koniusza commune. A generally accessible, monitored sports complex was built in 2020 at the Primary School in Biórkowo Wielkie with the aid of European Funds.
The facility is used by students, while outside school hours, it is also used by residents who wish to work on their shape and fitness. There is an outdoor gym with eight pieces of equipment, a bicycle path (where you can also ride roller skates, skateboards, etc.), and a football pitch with an artificial surface and bleachers, surrounded by a complex of four tracks, two hundred metres long.
A multifunctional field with a tennis court was also built at the school, which can be used as a natural ice rink in winter.
The investment in municipal infrastructure also included the construction of a new sports field in Koniusza and 10 fenced playgrounds in the villages of: Dalewice, Przesławice, Łyszkowice, Gnatowice, Szarbia, Piotrkowice Wielkie, Glew, Siedliska, Wroniec, Chorążyce.
