Trześniówka V extension of the left embankment of the Trześniówka river at km 3 + 646 - 7 + 626 in the estate Sobów and Wielowieś, the city of Tarnobrzeg with the construction of a pumping station in Trześń, commune Gorzyce, voiv. Podkarpackie Province
The main objective of the project is to improve protection against flooding in the Trześniówka river valley in the Sobów and Wielowieś housing estates of the city of Tarnobrzeg and in the town of Trześń in the Gorzyce commune in the Tarnobrzeg poviat in the Podkarpackie Province.
The construction works consisted of: extending the left embankment of the Trześniówka River, almost 4 km long, with the construction of accompanying infrastructure (culverts, crossings and embankment roads) and the construction of a pumping station located at km 3 + 850 of the embankment. The created infrastructure contributed to an increase in the level of flood protection for the areas located in the Sobów and Wielowieś housing estates of the city of Tarnobrzeg and in the town of Trześń in the Gorzyce commune.
The effects of the project ensured protection of property and life of 1,626 inhabitants, as well as protection of technical infrastructure facilities, public utility facilities and enterprises located in the floodplain area.
