Increasing the energy efficiency of the RZGW building in Wrocław at 39 Wybrzeże Wyspiańskiego Street
After the inspection, it was found that because the building was built over 80 years ago in traditional construction technology, it does not meet all modern functional and utility needs, influencing its technical condition and operation.
This especially applies to non-compliance with modern standards of thermal insulation and failure to adapt to the current teletechnical needs.
The defects identified in the study include:
- insufficient insulation of the building’s external partitions,
- significant wear of some elements of the roof structure, requiring conservation and protection treatments,
- significant wear of window and door joinery elements, most of which do not meet modern acoustic and thermal insulation standards,
- connections of the utilities networks of the technical infrastructure inconsistent with current standards, this applies to both pipes and electric cables, e.g. in cellar corridors and ventilation systems.
The project aims to reduce CO2 emissions by carrying out a deep, comprehensive modernization improving energy efficiency in a free-standing administrative and office building, which is under the permanent management of the Regional Water Management Board in Wrocław.
The task will include:
- drying and insulation of walls,
- ceiling insulation,
- roof insulation,
- vertical and horizontal insulation of foundation walls,
- replacement of windows,
- door replacement,
- modernization of walls and doors separating rooms from staircases,
- replacement of the central heating installation including:
- replacement of radiators, replacement of valves, installation / modernization of the ventilation system,
- replacement of light sources with energy-saving ones,
- replacement of lighting fixtures,
- replacement and assembly of switchboards,
- application and assembly of control automation systems, including the use of energy management systems, translation (replacement) of the electrical installation.
The entire material scope also includes: investor’s supervision, author’s supervision, ex-ante audit, ex-post audit, application for subsidy, preparation of project documentation and project promotion.
