Improving energy efficiency through thermal modernization of protection facilities health and the use of a photovoltaic installation at SP ZOZ MSWiA w Szczecin.
The aim of the Project is to improve the energy efficiency of the main building of the SAMODZIELNY PUBLICZNY ZAKŁAD OPIEKI ZDROWOTNEJ MINISTERSTWA SPRAW WEWNĘTRZNYCH I ADMINISTRACJI W SZCZECINIE. The facility is located in Szczecin, at Jagiellońska 44 street.
The improvement of energy efficiency is to take place through thermal modernization (thermal insulation of external walls, insulation of the flat roof), replacement of lighting with energy-saving ones and the use of renewable energy sources – construction of a photovoltaic installation.
Detailed objectives of the implemented Project include in particular:
a) reduction of energy losses caused by leaky partitions,
b) reduction of energy consumption in the building,
c) reduction of expenses for heating the building,
d) improving the working conditions of medical personnel,
e) improving the conditions of treating patients,
f) protecting the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
The long-term goal of the project is to improve the living conditions and health of the region’s inhabitants by reducing the emission of harmful greenhouse gases and improving the infrastructure of the hospital building.
In addition, it is expected that in connection with the implementation of the project, the following results and results of activities will be obtained:
a) reduction of the emission of harmful substances emitted to the environment – reduction of CO2 emissions at the level of 397.02 Mg CO2 / year,
b) high energy savings,
c) reducing the costs of supplying the Hospital with heat and electricity (annual savings of approximately PLN 158 000,00).
