The aim of the project is to increase the employability of 72 individuals laid off or to be laid off for reasons related to the employing business. Project participants received comprehensive outplacement support, including psychological counselling and guidance, employment support, occupational training, language courses and internships.

Participants were required to meet the following conditions:

  1. they were to be laid off or at risk of layoff for reasons unrelated to them (10% of the project’s target group);
  2. they were laid off for reasons unrelated to them within a period of no more than 6 months prior to entering the project;
  3. they were residents of the Lublin Functional Area, i.e. the following communes: Głusk, Jabłonna, Jastków, Konopnica, Miasto Lubartów, Miasto Lublin, Mełgiew, Nałęczów, Niedrzwica Duża, Niemce, Piaski, Spiczyn, Strzyżewice, Świdnik, Wólka.
  4. they had inadequate and poorly marketable qualifications and wished to improve them, and to have this confirmed with appropriate certificates;
  5. their occupational experience was poorly marketable and they wished to gain experience and acquire practical skills that were in demand among employers.

Participants were offered:

  1. occupational counselling in the form of face-to-face meetings, including the drafting of an Individual Action Plan;
  2. group-based occupational counselling;
  3. individual psychological counselling;
  4. individual employment support;
  5. occupational training culminating in external examination and certification;
  6. English course culminating in external examination and certification;
  7. three-month internships.
