INCREASING THE TOURIST POTENTIAL OF WYSZKÓW MUNICIPALITY THROUGH THE PROTECTION OF HISTORICAL SITES: STAGE II
The main objective of the project is the modernisation and renovation of Karol FerdynandWaza Park, to preserve its historical value.The site will include new cultural and educational activities in the form of three thematiczones.In the Industrial Wyszków zone, boards with QR codes containing links to interesting factsabout the history of local industry will be installed. Bronze sculptures of squirrels will beplaced along the alleys. Each sculpture will contain elements showing famous enterprisesformerly operating in the region.The second zone will commemorate the famous cryptologist Jerzy Różycki and will feature abronze model of the former building of the secondary school which Różycki attended. Takingadvantage of modern technology, a virtual version of the school will also be made available tovisitors on their mobile phones.In the third zone – the so-called health zone – a brine graduation tower will be erected alongwith architectural elements of landscape design, in to promote a healthy lifestyle and spend–ing leisure time interacting with nature.
