Modernization of the didactic base for vocational education of the School Complex of the Agricultural Education Center named after K. Kluk in Rudka
Regional buns and smoked sausage are not the only delicacies made by students of the School Complex of the Krzysztof Kluk Agricultural Education Center in Rudka.
Recipes and secrets of preparing traditional dishes are acquired at workshops conducted in “Gacówka”, a building modernized and equipped thanks to European funds. The workshops allow participants to learn what delicacies can be prepared from raw materials obtained from their own farms.
Young future chefs will learn the secrets of preparing traditionally smoked sausage. This is made possible by a special internal smokehouse installed in the building. They also produce cheeses themselves – last year “Gacówka” was visited by a professional cheesemaker who conducted workshops in this area.
The building houses a large brick oven, which is necessary for traditional pastries. Students through their own taste buds are convinced of the large difference in the taste of pastries prepared in a brick oven compared to those from an electric oven. Workshop participants also make their own preserves.
