Projekt zakłada zmniejszenie ilości odpadów kierowanych na składowiska z obszaru Miasta Zamość, Gminy Zamość i Gminy Łabunie. Projekt przewiduje budowę infrastruktury, przebudowę, a także zakup niezbędnego sprzętu i wyposażenia oraz przeprowadzenie działań edukacyjnych związanych z organizacją procesu selektywnej zbiórki odpadów na terenie Miasta Zamość, Gminy Zamość i Gminy Łabunie.
