Construction of the EuroVelo11 bicycle route on the Ostrów - Łukanowice section
The EuroVelo11 route is an international cycling route recognized as an Eastern European route. The section of the route running through the Malopolska Region is one of the main cycling routes that are part of the integrated network of cycling routes in the Region.
EU funds made it possible to finalise the investment involving the construction of another section of EuroVelo 11 on the Ostrów – Łukanowice route.
The described project is a part of the EuroVelo 11 route with a length of approx. 5.18 km and is located in eastern Malopolska. The route has a limited number of detours, and its minimal gradients (average 1%, max. 3%) make riding a great pleasure for all cyclists, regardless of their level of advancement.
Thanks to its convenient location with a view of the Beskids and the Pogórze, the route allows you to get to know the attractions of the region, as the investment area is a great place for both weekend and seasonal tourism.
Due to financial support from European Funds, the high-quality bicycle routes created contribute directly to the increase in the number of people visiting places belonging to the cultural heritage of the Malopolska Region.
