Innowacyjny laser do zastosowań w endoskopowej chirurgii urologicznej
Celem projektu jest opracowanie uniwersalnego i mobilnego lasera chirurgicznego do zastosowań w chirurgii endoskopowej dla potrzeb takich specjalności jak urologia, ginekologia, flebologia, torakochirurgia, proktologia. Proponuje się zbudować urządzenie laserowe, które łączy zalety lasera CTH:YAG pompowanego lampowo (moc średnia 35 W, moc szczytowa rzędu kilku kW, duża energia impulsu tj. ok 8 J) z zaletami lasera diodowego zbudowanego z InP (prostota konstrukcji, energooszczędność, wysoka moc średnia, tj. 110 W). Dużą zaletą takiej kombinacji jest fakt, iż w przypadku obydwu źródeł głębokość wnikania generowanego przezeń promieniowania w tkanki miękkie jest taka sama w obydwu przypadkach. Co więcej proponowane rozwiązanie techniczne pozwoli ograniczyć wymiary i masę urządzenia do porównywalnych z parametrami lasera CTH:YAG o mocy wyjściowej 35 W. Nie istnieje żadne takie urządzenie na rynku globalnym.
