Connecting the cities of Lower Silesia – construction of the southern-eastern bypass of Bolesławiec
The Lower Silesian Road and Railway Administration in Wrocław is proud to have accomplished yet another implementation of a significant road investment. Thanks to the obtained EU funding four kilometre long southern-eastern bypass of Bolesławiec was built. The new road will be connected to the voivodeship road no. 297 Bolesławiec – Lwówek Śląski. Along the bypass, broad cycling paths have been built as well as three roundabout types of crossroads, which will contribute to a significant de-burdening of the city centre with much less transit traffic, especially with regards to truck traffic. New communication stops were also built as well as lights’ system, street parking and traffic safety amenities. Numerous tree plantings along the roads contribute to maintaining natural balance in the area – realization of the venture also encompasses environment protection.
