Purchase of rescue and natural disturbances consequences or major accidents removal equipment in order to support Volunteer Firefighters units – the municipality’ partnership project led by Swidnica
As a result of a partnership of a dozen of municipalities, eleven volunteer fire brigades received EU financial support. The aim of the project was to increase the citizens’ safety, effectively prevent from all hazards as well as mitigate their results. Over PLN 6,3 million was designated for the purchase of 10 state-of-the art rescue -fire vehicles (7 middle class, and 3 light) as well as two plumbing kits used by technical rescue units. Each hydraulic rescue kit contains: pumps, scissors, hose, shoulder and telescopic spreaders as well tools to cut off pedals in cars and force the door. The citizens being a part of the project can be sure now that in case of any event, each rescue unit is in a working order and fully equipped.
Eleven volunteer fire brigades from the following towns received subsidy: Burkatów, Ostroszowice, Jaworzyna Śląska, Męcinka, Goczałków, Ujazd Górny, Pożarzysko, Leśna, Tworzyjanów, Siekierczyn, Brzeg Dolny.
