Jeziorsko water reservoir - revitalization of the front dam of the reservoir
The subject of the project is to carry out a comprehensive renovation of the front dam screen of the Jeziorsko water reservoir. The homogeneous earth dam, made of medium-grained sands with a reinforced concrete slope screen, is located at km 484 + 300 of the Warta River. Its purpose is to accumulate water in the reservoir. Thanks to the high-quality facility, the Jeziorsko reservoir fulfills a retention function and ensures flood safety (flood protection). The project assumes the implementation of the following tasks:

The purpose of the works is to repair individual elements of the front dam screen, consisting mainly in restoring the original condition (with the use of construction products other than those used in the original state). The works are essential in order to obtain adequate flood protection. The project will be in line with the concept of universal design – no new infrastructure will be created as part of the project. Realiz. the task has a significant impact on the direction of generally accessible tourist traffic. and recreational activities in the areas of natural value and surrounding the reservoir, creating favorable conditions for the entire society.
