The lead benicifiary organisation is Boryslav city council and other partner is Community of Sanok. To Boryslav city council also belongs Skhidnytsya village. Partners share mutual cultural and historical heritage linked to the extraction of crude oil dating back to 16th century. The region remains the cradle of European oil industry. On the turn of 19th and 20th centuries its production in Borysłav and Sanok areas was ranked 3rd in the world. The potential of this heritage is not sufficiently protected, promoted and used. The reason for it is the insufficient degree of Polish-Ukrainian cooperation.
