perspective
2014 - 2020

With a view to further developing the enterprise, as part of the project under SGOP 2.3.2 Innovation vouchers, research and development was commissioned for an improved product group – concrete masonry units, additionally filled with ready-made, specialized mineral foam with very good insulating properties. The innovative products are intended for construction of load-bearing walls, partitions in a one- and two-layer system for single-family and multi-family housing. Combining a specially designed concrete masonry unit with hollow cores for foam filling yields a product with very good thermal insulation, and its manufacturing does not require installing specialized chambers or furnaces, as is the case of components made of aerated concrete or ceramics, thus reducing CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. The developed and tested product is a response to market needs for more energy-efficient products, and thus will reduce the demand for energy used for heating and cooling buildings. The new product is made entirely from raw materials of natural origin (i.e., cement, sand, expanded clay, water). It is therefore possible to completely recycle it and reuse it in production.

Quote:

The implementation of the project allowed for preparing the new product’s complete technical documentation. The project resulted in a technology and product research report, which provided the basis for a patent application. Subsequently, the Beneficiary carried out a project under measure 3.2.2 of the SGOP Loan for technological innovations entitled “Deployment of an innovative technology for the production of wall masonry units as a result of R&D” (Intermediate Body – Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego), under which investments were made in fixed assets, enabling the commencement of mass production and marketing of newly developed products. The above activities contributed to a significant boost of the company’s competitiveness, increase in revenues and expansion of the sales market.
