The main activity of Kuźnia Matrycowa Sp. z o.o. is manufacturing forgings for the automotive and engineering industries. Due to its long history, the company has gained necessary competences and experience, which allowed it to achieve success on international markets. The subject of the project is to implement in the company’s activity the results of R&D works concerning the development of an innovative technology of forgings production with the use of the original technological solution, a rolling-bending machine. The new technological process will significantly increase production efficiency and reduce its energy consumption. It will be possible to optimize surplus material during production, which will result in a 3% decrease in material losses and a 5% decrease in energy consumption necessary for production. With the use of the designed technology it is possible to decrease the unit cost of production of a detail by minimum 9% in relation to the current state of the art. The developed technology is a subject of patent application positively verified by the Polish Patent Office.
