Implementation of R&D works aimed at designing a mechanical lifting system for evening out the working levels of robots.
The project consisted in commissioning a research unit to carry out R&D works in order to design a product innovation – a mechanical lifting system for evening out the working levels of robots. Lifting systems can be paired or combined into units for the purpose of using energy of passive return to the rest position. The currently used lifts make use of energy supplied by power, electrical or pneumatic systems at lifting movement. On the other hand, return movement (e.g. platform dropping) causes loss of potential energy and its dispersion into the environment. The idea behind the solution is to use the energy that is currently lost for work of another lift or a group of lifts. Such an approach will enable partial recovery of currently lost energy (at the level of mechanical systems efficiency) and its reuse in the technological process. Such a solution will decrease the use of energy originally supplied to the system. The project implementation comprised 5 R&D tasks:
- development of physical bases and choice of technology
- design and creation of a scale model of a lift
- design of an automatic control system
- consolidation of lifts with the control system
- tests of the entire system
