Modernization of the street route Marsa - Żołnierska on the section Marsa node - city border - stage III
The subject of the project is stage III of the undertaking concerning the modernization of the voivodeship roads no. 637 and 631 (the route of Marsa – Żołnierska streets), section from ul. Nadnieprzańska (area of the Mars junction with Trasa Siekierkowska) to the administrative border of the city of Warsaw, up to the parameters of the main accelerated traffic road (GP). As part of stage III, it is planned to expand the intersection of Marsa and Żołnierska streets in Warsaw by building a bridge (flyover) along Żołnierska-Marsa streets (in the direction of driving to the city center) along with the reconstruction of the existing road system and the network of utilities.
The scope of works covered by this investment includes:
- demolition of part of the inlet pavement from Żołnierska Street (left roadway),
- demolition of part of the pavement of Marsa Street (left roadway),
- construction of a bridge (overpass) connecting ul. Marsa from ul. Żołnierska,
- connecting the planned flyover with the existing road system of Marsa Street (stage II),
- connecting the planned flyover with the planned road system on ul. Żołnierska,
- reconstruction of the intersection of Marsa Street and Żołnierska Street in the area of the entrance to Żołnierska Street,
- reconstruction of the intersection of Marsa Street and Chełmżyńska Street.
