Economic promotion of the Podlaskie Voivodeship, ‘Podlaskie - The natural place to do business’
‘Podlaskie – The natural place to do business’ – with this slogan the Podlaskie Voivodeship promotes the economic and investment potential of the region. The goal of the project is to show that the region is attractive for investment and encourage external investments. The project aims also to present local companies that offer quality and innovative products and services. Thanks to these activities, the region has a chance to be more recognizable in the world. The value of the project is over PLN 8.2 million, of which co-financing from the regional programme is almost PLN 7 million.
The voivodeship has launched promotional campaigns on the Internet, in the press and on television. The aim is to show that Podlaskie is a good place to invest, as well as to develop businesses.
As a result of the project, one can learn about technologically advanced products and high-quality services. Importantly, the entrepreneurs implement them in accordance with nature and the environmental protection requirements. The Podlaskie Voivodeship also promotes a well-developed communication infrastructure and rich scientific and research facilities.
Moreover, the project includes also study visits, missions and economic seminars. It provides support to local enterprises to gain new customers all over the world and increase the export of their products and services. For example, local entrepreneurs took part in the economic mission and business seminar in October 2021 during the EXPO 2020 World Exhibition in Dubai. Entrepreneurs held meetings with foreign business partners.
Finally, Podlaskie has launched an economic portal investinpodlaskie.pl/en/. One will find there information about the investment areas. The website will also show local startups and the most promising branches of the region’s economy.
