The main problem is the lack of constant and underdeveloped PL-BY cooperation in the field of tourism activity using the cultural and historical values of the Belovezha Forest region. The main aim of the project is to strengthen cultural ties and cooperation between Pruzhany district and Hajnowka district by preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of PL-BY border area. Within the project two conferences, two cultural outdoor events such as Folklore open-air party and Presentations of borderland folk culture, Woodcarvers Plein-air will be organized. The implementation of the project will bring undoubted benefits on both sides of the border. The project will allow local residents, including children and youth, spending their spare time in a creative way and will give them an opportunity to cultivate the region heritage. As a result of the project, the opportunities of partners in the field of cultural activities will expand. The technical equipment of the beneficiaries’ cultural facilities will be improved by purchasing exhibition equipment, national stage costumes and shoes. Cross-border cooperation will be established, the number of tourists visiting the region will be increased by 10%. The final beneficiaries represented by: residents of Hajnowka district and Pruzhany district, for whom the attractiveness of their residence area will increase and its image will be improved, will gain profit from the project, and tourists visiting region on the on both sides of the border. Implementation of the project will be carried out by partners based on a cross-border approach. It is supposed to act on the basis of four principles of cooperation – joint preparation of the project, joint implementation of the project, joint staff and co-financing. Such participation of the three partners will not only ensure the successful implementation of the project, but also help strengthen cooperation and create the basis for further initiatives.
