Adaptation of the Councilors' Hall, the so-called treasury and the Gothic Hall in the town hall tower for museum purposes, stage II
The subject of the project is to carry out restoration and conservation works in the rooms of the historic Town Hall in Brzeg, to purchase equipment and to develop an information application.
These objectives will be achieved, inter alia, as a result of:
- carrying out restoration and conservation works in the historic Town Hall in Brzeg,
- purchase of equipment for the Councillors’ Hall, a Gothic hall in the tower, the so-called vault,
- carrying out restoration and conservation works on the 18th-century globe, which was part of the original equipment of the Councilors’ Hall,
- creating an information application for mobile devices,
- carrying out conservation works on the baroque balustrade.
The undertaken works are aimed at increasing the accessibility of inhabitants and tourists to culture and preserving historic buildings in good condition, so that they can be available not only to present but also future generations.
The project will be implemented in partnership with the Museum of the Silesian Piasts in Brzeg.
The project takes into account the needs and responds to problems in the field of access to culture of all stakeholder groups, including people with disabilities.
