Supporting Emergency Medical Teams in the fight against COVID-19 and other infectious diseases with funding from The Infrastructure and Environment Programme 2014-2020
On 24 August 2021 in the seat of Independent Public Health Care Facility in Bychawa on Marszałka Józefa Piłsudskiego Street, a ceremony of consecration and handing over for use of a new medical ambulance took place. The purchase of the new specialized ambulance allowed to replace the old ambulance. The new ambulance is equipped with a stretcher with a transporter and a defibrillator – all this equipment is necessary to save the health and lives of the region patients. It also boost the comfort of work of the Medical Rescue Team.
Apart from the ambulance, personal protective equipment has been purchased within the project, i.e. 767 FFP3 filtering masks and 265 protective suits with boots.
