The project “Carpathian FolkArt Festival – common cultural heritage of the Carpathians” targets at thematic objectives and main priorities of the programme since it includes activities focused on trans-border cultural potential. The activities will be organized in Polish and Ukrainian parts of the assisted area, that is in: Podkarpackie Voivodship in Poland and in Ukraine it will cover Lviv, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk districts. The recipients of the project will be all the inhabitants of the borderland and tourists visiting the region. The main goal of the project is to increase tourist attractiveness of Polish-Ukrainian borderland through the utilization of local traditions, folklore and traditional crafts which carry the most of cultural heritage of the Carpathians. The activities will include: – organization of Carpathian FolkArt Festival (3 cross-border cultural events – including the series of concerts, lectures) The cultural events on the Polish side (2-day/2 events) will include two concerts of local Polish artists, one lecture of Polish speaker (LB responsibility) and two concerts of Ukrainian artists, one lecture of Ukrainian speaker (B1 responsibility). The cultural event on the Ukrainian side (1-day/1 event) will include one concert of Ukrainian artists (B1 responsibility) and one concert of Polish artists and one lecture of the Polish speaker (LB responsibility). – Organization of the series of workshops of dying professions Handicraft workshops will be conducted by Polish local artists and Ukrainian local artists as well. Both Polish and Ukrainian craftsmen will be leading workshops on the UA/PL sides. There will be 9 workshops of dying professions conducted (6 workshops on the PL side and 3 on the UA side). – Promotion and information campaign: on social media (3 short films – also promoted through Google AdWords), creation of Mobile Tourist Information Point, development and printing of the tourist map (7000), promotional materials (200).
