perspective
2014 - 2020

The main defined problem which this project addresses is the low level of development of cross-border tourism based on cultural, historical and natural potential within the territory of the Sanok Commune and the Town of Boryslav. This has a negative effect manifested as a low level of services and poor quality of tourist infrastructure, absence of coordinated actions effectively promoting the Sanok Commune and the Town of Boryslav, as well as omissions as regards joint protection of the natural assets related to history and nature, being a significant heritage element of the borderland regions. The project’s overall objective is to improve the image and attractiveness of the Sanok Commune and the Town of Boryslav as the centres taking advantage of the natural and historical potential to promote cross-border tourism. The designated project’s objective will greatly contribute to changing the current situation.
