Creation of an integrated public transport system in the KOSI area - stage III
Project implemented as part of the Wielkopolska Regional Operational Program 2014-2020, Priority Axis 3 “Energy”, Measure 3.3 “Supporting low-carbon strategies including urban mobility”, Sub-measure 3.3.1 “Investments in the area of urban transport”.
Project implemented from 03.07.2020 to 31.12.2021.
Partners of the City of Konin in the project are : Gmina Kramsk, Gmina Golina, Gmina Rzgów, Stare Miasto, Kazimierz Biskupi, Krzymów.
The aim of the project is to develop an integrated public transport system in the K OSI. Implementation of the project will significantly improve the level and quality of life of local communities and reduce air pollution in the city of Konin and partner municipalities, through the development of safe, consistent and functional forms of non-motorized individual transportation. The material scopes of the project are in line with the low-carbon issues identified in the relevant documents on low-carbon economy.
As part of the project, 6 bicycle roads and pedestrian and bicycle paths will be built within the K OSI in the city of Konin (0.36 km) and municipalities:
- Golina (0.51 km),
- Rzgów (0.65 km),
- Stare Miasto (1.08 km),
- Kazimierz Biskupi (0.45 km),
- Krzymów (0.41 km),
- construction of energy-efficient lighting of existing bicycle roads in the municipality of Kramsk – 25 units,
comprehensive information and promotion activities will be carried out and an information campaign will be conducted in the media, as well as the development of documentation related to the preparation of the project – feasibility study .
