Project description [max. 4 000 characters] The project aims to assist SMEs in improving competitiveness and sustainability through the CONSIDERATION solution, which includes digitalization support and an inclusive change management approach through competency development for both management and employees. It also provides tools for climate and environmental evaluation to measure and report on SMEs’ own climate actions. The project is developing a Digital Strategy Development Tool and sub-tools on an open-source platform to support digital competency development for SMEs. It builds on and scale-up experiences from a project titled “Digital Pathways to Growth” (Digitale Veje til Vækst – DVV), conducted in the region of Zealand. As the project supports digital competency development by addressing motivation and training for both management and staff within different topics, the development process will involve several open seminars and workshops in which SMEs give feedback to the development of the tool(s). The intervention strategy includes developing and pilot-testing the solution, plus “training the trainers” and “Training the SMEs”, and developing a sustainable organization after the project’s end. Additionally, the project will raise awareness of the solution, attract registered users, and learn from their usage. The project develops the structure and content, train the trainers, train the first round of SMEs as a pilot and evaluate the tools and concepts, while documenting and publicly communicating the findings. By the end of the project, the platform, services and provided seminars, workshops etc shall be self-sustaining through small fees (to a non-profit permanent organization) from third party services, course/seminar and workshop providers while charging for their own services, but the tools (the solution) is free for the SMEs to use. The DSDT shall be usable for SMEs by themselves. A questionnaire for management boards allows to self-eval
