The project offers comprehensive support for 608 adults from the southern subregion of Silesia Province who want to enhance their professional qualifications in the context of regional transformation.

Implementation period: April 2024 – December 2026 Coverage: Southern subregion of Silesia Province (Bielski district, Bielsko-Biała, Cieszyn district, Żywiec district)

Target group:

  • Employed persons (88% of participants)
  • Unemployed and professionally inactive persons
  • Special focus on workers from mining and mining-related sectors
  • Equal participation of women and men (304 female/304 male)

The project offers:

  • Individual career counselling and development needs analysis
  • Professional training/courses and postgraduate studies adapted to green economy needs
  • Support in selecting appropriate development services
  • Certification of acquired competencies
  • Encouragement to create “My Portfolio” or Europass account

Expected outcomes:

  • 487 people will obtain new qualifications/competencies
  • 80% of participants will acquire “green qualifications”
  • Increased worker adaptability to changes related to regional transformation

Project innovation lies in:

  • Demand-driven training selection system – participants decide on the scope and service provider
  • Focus on future competencies related to green economy
  • Comprehensive support, combining counselling with opportunities for self-development
  • Adaptation to local labor market needs in the context of regional transformation

The project is implemented by WEKTOR CONSULTING sp. z o.o., under the supervision of the Regional Labor Office in Katowice.
