The main objective of the project is to build effective cross-border cooperation between the city of Jarosław and Zaleszczyki and to develop joint solutions in the field of creating sustainable water and sewage management. The main products of the project are: – development of the cross-border „Strategy for sustainable water and sewage management Jarosław-Zaleszczyki”, which will enable systemic activities in the field of protection of water resources and will support sustainable water management in the area covered by the Program – conducting surveys and developing 2 reports diagnosing the state of water and sewage management in Jarosław and Zaleszczyki – conducting 12 participatory meetings with residents on both sides of the border – development of 8 environmental expertises – organization of a total of 3 conferences (2 in Jarosław, 1 in Zaleszczyki) – organization of 8 trainings (3 in Jarosław and 5 in Zaleszczyki). During these activities, experience and knowledge in the field of water and sewage management will be exchanged between the project partners. – construction of approximately 8,400 m of sewage network in Jarosław, which will enable 282 residents of the northern part of the city of Jarosław to be connected to the network in the area of ​​Dolnoleżajska, Brodowicze and Stawki streets: 94 residential buildings will be connected to the designed sewage system (approx. 3 people per household – in total 282 people). The implementation of the sewage system in question will make it possible in the future to connect building plots (currently undeveloped) intended for single-family housing, located in the area of ​​the following streets: Dolnoleżajska, Brodowicze, Stawki. The parameters of the planned sewerage facilities have been selected in a way that will enable their further expansion in the future, in order to connect properties located in the area of ​​streets, among others, to them in the future.
