perspective
2021 - 2027

The interactive nature center in the Uzhanskyi National Nature Park will not only show visitors the diversity of local flora and fauna, but will also offer exciting interactive exhibits that will turn learning into an interesting journey. The center at Uzhhorod National University, on the other hand, will be more focused on the academic aspect of environmental education and will serve as a platform for research and interdisciplinary cooperation. Both centers will actively engage not only pupils and students, but also a wide range of other visitors and tourists seeking to deepen their knowledge of the Carpathian nature through interactive exhibits, multimedia presentations and excursions to nature reserves. These learning methods are designed to stimulate curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and provide hands-on experiences that make the learning process not only informative but also fun. On the other side of the border in Jaroslaw, an analogous educational center and green areas will be built. The main theme of the center will be the preservation of biodiversity through education in the field of honey bees. The services of the center will be addressed to children, youth, students and the local community.A special topic developed and shown in the center will be the impact of the Carpathian bee on the biodiversity of the region, especially its flora and sustainable agriculture. The interactive center will be used for exercises by students as well as university participants during school trips and study visits The importance of preserving the biodiversity of the Uzhansky and Magursky National Parks cannot be overestimated. These parks are real treasuries of biodiversity and ecosystem balance, which play a key role in preserving the natural heritage of the Carpathians. The project will conduct a comprehensive audit of the ecosystems of these parks, the results of which will be used to develop effective strategies for their conservation and restoration.
