Reconstruction of Olsztyńska Street on the section from Szosa Lubicka Street to Suwalska Street in Toruń
The subject of the project was the reconstruction of Olsztyńska Street – a section of national road No. 15, 1.5 km long, and adapting it to the standard of neighboring sections of national roads. Thanks to the implementation of the investment project it was possible to eliminate the “bottleneck” at the exit of national road No. 15 towards Olsztyn. As part of the task, on the section from Szosa Lubicka to Suwalska Street the old existing roadway was rebuilt and a new roadway with two lanes was added. The scope of the project also included reconstruction of all necessary networks and construction of new accompanying infrastructure, sidewalks and bicycle paths. The reconstruction allowed to achieve a higher level of transport cohesion of the city with the national and European transport system.
