Tourist and recreation centre in Przysiecz
The Lipiński Family homestead is beautifully located on two ponds near Bory Niemodlińskie (Niemodlin Forest). One of them has two attractive bathing beaches for adults and children, an island with a summer house, a suspended bridge and a fishing jetty.
The “Hospitable Homestead” is especially friendly for children. The fresh air and plenty of space for running around are very good for their health, and they just love the animals and the fascinating stories about them told by the host – a trained veterinarian. The animals include cows, sheep, goats, rabbits, geese, decorative poultry, miniature pigs, dwarf goats, deer and a wild boar. However, the main attractions are the Shetland and Welsh ponies, Arabian horses and Polish horses of noble half-blood. Enthusiasts of horse riding will find the vast meadows and forest paths ideal for saddle trips. There is also a covered riding arena where beginners learn their skills under the watchful eye of the instructor.
In 2011 the homestead received a guesthouse with comfortable en-suite rooms, each with a Wi-Fi, a TV, and access to a long veranda overlooking the animals. There is a kitchen in each room, although visitors prefer the home cooking prepared by the landlady and delicacies from the smoking house, such as cold meat, cheese or fish which you catch yourself. Another attraction is the traditional saddle room and smithy in one, with tables, a barbecue, a smokebox, field kitchen and a place for a bonfire outside. The garden has been turned into a wooden fortified town and is often used for open-air events. Next to it is a playground, also in medieval style. The hosts organize field trips, for example to the nearby Moszna in summer, and sleigh rides in winter. You can also visit the surrounding area in two traditional horse-drawn carts. The Hospitable Homestead is full of attractions throughout the year.
