Construction of the second road on Aleja Wilanowska on the section Sobieskiego Street - Dolina Służewiecka Street
Aleja Wilanowska is one of the main streets of Warsaw on the east-west relation, enabling access to people entering Warsaw from Konstancin to the center of Warsaw. The subject of the project was the reconstruction of Aleja Wilanowska from Dolina Służewiecka to the intersection with Sobieskiego Street, with a length of 1.8 km.
The implementation of the investment included:
- construction of two carriageways over a section of about 1,800 m, two straight lanes 3.5 m wide, with extensions at exits; intersections with separate left or right turn lanes; dividing strip from 2 m to 5 m wide with lighting. Bus bays at bus stops were separated, double-sided walkways and bicycle paths were built. At the intersections with cross streets, traffic lights were installed.
- reconstruction of the intersection with Sobieskiego street along with the construction of a section of the designed Rzeczypospolitej street constituting the southern inlet of the intersection, construction of traffic lights,
- reconstruction and regulation of the Służewiecki Stream on a 250 m section.
- construction of noise barriers.
- felling and planting of trees.
- construction of storm water drainage along with construction of a water purification and retention node in the area of the intersection of Aleja Wilanowska with Sobieskiego street.
