The project encompassed:
- reconstruction of intra-port roads along with the accompanying infrastructure: parking spaces for trucks, energy infrastructure (road lighting), infrastructure related to drainage of rainwater (rainwater drainage), removal of existing collisions with power, tele-technical, water and sewage networks;
- reconstruction of road connection to port from the Barlickiego Street in Świnoujście (connected to the national road No. 3) along with the surface of the road viaduct situated on the connection.
The implementation of the project was aimed at:
- adjusting the parameters of publicly available intra-port roads to handle heavy road vehicles with a load of 115 kN/axle;
- improving the accessibility of the commercial port in Świnoujście for heavy road transport;
- increasing the capacity of the port road system;
- improving working conditions and raising the level of safety for people, cargo and means of road transport using the intra-port communication system.
